C#.NET Developer

We are a progressive and exciting Cornwall-based IT company, responsible for many innovative local authority smart card schemes throughout the UK and are seeking an additional C# Developer to support our growing operations.
We are currently seeking a talented .NET Developer to join our team. You will have a natural aptitude for taking on and solving complex problems with ingenious solutions that can be maintained and developed further and you will need to be constantly learning new technologies and methods.
We specialise in building, supplying and maintaining solutions to support multi-application smart card schemes for our customers. We are constantly working with new customers, new projects and new technologies which make this an exciting and challenging position for a capable developer.

We are seeking a highly motivated .NET Developer with a CV that can demonstrate all of the following:
- Knowledge of C#.NET application development
- Ability to quickly digest complex problems and design the simplest solution possible;
- Ability to manage time appropriately to meet deadlines whilst maintaining quality;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to communicate well with colleagues and clients from a non-technical background.
- Able to work alone and unsupervised or as part of a team
- Fast learner with ability to quickly understand code written by others
- Able to work under pressure, managing time and prioritising tasks across multiple projects.
Essential developer skills
- Strong C#.NET experience
- Strong SQL 2008 experience
- Experience of integrating into external APIs and WCF web services
- Understanding of the .NET Framework, including LINQ and WCF
- Strong platform compatibility work
- Accessibility and Semantic structures
- Understanding of the subversion (SVN) version control system
Beneficial
- Experience of ASP.NET MVC4
- Experience working with data from various sources including Microsoft SQL and XML
- Good analytical skills
- SQL 2008 Advanced Services (e.g. Tuning, Reporting Services, Replication, High availability etc)
